Family feel, personal touch.

Authentic Wing Chun Kung Fu.

Focused on your results, safety and technical ability.

We are motivated by what you can learn and achieve.

Your effort is rewarded by personal growth and development.

Learning Wing Chun offers you a highly effective and practical street self protection system.

Why?

Wing Chun as a fighting or self-defence system has developed and been refined over hundreds of years in China and more recently Europe and the US and has been pressure tested many times.

In a street fight there are no rules, referees or doctors. You will be learning a set of skills and principles that, when applied, will allow you to defend you and your loved ones if ever needed, in a fast and effective manner.

Famous for its direct and devastating short range power. You will learn and understand how a smaller person can take on and defeat a larger opponent using skill and speed.

How do you teach Wing Chun Kung Fu?

Wing Chun Halesowen Kuen is proud to offer you authentic Wing Chun Kuen from Sifu Alan Bagley through the Ip Man lineage.

Come and find out what Wing Chun is all about.

A little over 6 months ago I took the small step of entering the World of martial arts quite by accident. I was looking for a new challenge in my life. Having been to gym etc I was after something that would keep my interest for the foreseeable and something that I could stay with as I get older that I could use to keep fit of mind and body. If I had researched MMA and Martial Arts I would most definitely not have joined. I was not looking to do spinning kicks, back flips and all the rest as this was the impression I had of these type of sports and at the age I am I was not about to start trying any of this either. So 6 months on, what is the fascination, why am I still going, what have I learnt? I think the first thing that I think about is that I don’t need to motivate myself to go, I enjoy going and I enjoy the friendly and hospitable environment of Wing Chun Halesowen. There is a real family feel about the place, you do not feel out of place regardless of age, gender or ability. OK I am not going to be the next Bruce Lee or IP Man but some of the techniques I have learnt even shock me that I can do those. My confidence has grown and my awareness is keener. There is always something to improve on and learn which keeps my mind focused and hungry in turn driving me to better myself physically. Wing Chun is more than a passing fad for me like many things I have tried. Of course I would like to thank both Sifu Alan and Sifu Delroy for their patience, guidance and understanding and go on to tell you how great everyone is etc etc and tell you how great Wing Chun is but the truth is I am selfish. Wing Chun is my secret pleasure without the calories. So if you want to find out more then you will have to take that small first step with an open mind and find out for yourself. Perhaps you may find a bit of Bruce Lee or IP Man in you or like me a life long passion.
