Ng Mui
After escaping the destruction of the Fujian Shaolin Monastery by Qing forces around 1730, the Abbess Ng Mui fled to the Daliang Mountains on the border between Yunnan and Sichuan. Ng Mui often bought tofu at a shop owned by Yim Yee (嚴二). Yim Yee had a daughter named Yim Wing Chun (嚴詠春), whom a local warlord was trying to force into marriage.

Ng Mui taught Yim Wing Chun a version of her southern-Shaolin kung fu, which allowed her to drive off the warlord.

In the history of Chinese Martial arts the Five Animals or five forms that will always be referenced are Tiger, Crane, Leopard, Snake, and Dragon.

Think of any Chinese martial arts film and you will either hear or see references to on or more of the 5 animals.

Wing Chun uses the snake and the crane in its system.

WASHING

Before washing the Snake and Crane T-Shirt, always look at the care label and carefully follow the instructions. Most good quality detergents, washing machines, and fabrics are manufactured to ensure that when the stated instructions are adhered to and the garment is washed according to the said temperature and dried as per the procedures mentioned; they will wash well and look good after each wash.
