2024: Best Martial Arts School 2024 – Dudley Borough
Community Engagement Excellence Award 2024 · Fitness and Nutrition Awards 2024
In 2024 Wing Chun Halesowen was recognised as the Best Martial Arts School in the Dudley Borough and also received the Community Engagement Excellence Award at the Fitness and Nutrition Awards 2024.
The community award meant a lot, because that is what the club is about: classes, school sessions and holiday activity programmes that keep people moving and give them confidence.
2023: Best Family-Run Martial Arts School 2023
GHP Magazine · West Midlands
In 2023 we were named Best Family-Run Martial Arts School for the West Midlands by GHP Magazine.
We teach far more than punches and blocks. Training here builds confidence, discipline and fitness, for children aged 5 to 11 and for adults. Our students support each other, and many have become friends for life. That community spirit is what this award recognised.
2021: Best Traditional Chinese Martial Arts School – West Midlands
Midlands Enterprise Awards · SME News
The pandemic was a hard time for every family and business, and when the Government stopped all classes we were unsure what the future held. The club was established in 2013 and had built a solid reputation by then, but we had to find a new way to teach.
We set up a dedicated YouTube channel so students could keep training at home, and that effort was recognised when we were named Best Traditional Chinese Martial Arts School in the West Midlands.
Thank you to every student and parent who stuck with us.
