If you’ve looked closely at some of our clothing, you may have spotted a small mark on the chest: T&T Studio. It stands for TrackAndTrainStudio, the name under which our martial arts lifestyle designs are sold on Etsy. People occasionally ask whether it’s a separate company, whether the Etsy listings are genuine, and whether they should buy there or from our own shop. This article answers those questions.
Who is behind TrackAndTrainStudio?
We are. TrackAndTrainStudio is simply the name we use for our lifestyle range, and the Etsy shop is ours. If you see the T&T Studio mark, the design has come from Wing Chun Halesowen, the same school that has been teaching in Halesowen since 2013.
What the Etsy shop is for
The Etsy shop exists for the T&T Studio designs: pieces meant for everyday wear rather than for the training floor. They’re the items most likely to appeal to someone who has never set foot in our centre.
How an Etsy order works
If you haven’t bought on Etsy before, it’s straightforward. You’ll need a free Etsy account; Etsy takes the payment, and your order page gives you a message thread with us if you have a question about sizing or delivery. Because many items are made to order, the listing will show an estimated dispatch time. It’s worth reading that before you buy if you need something by a particular date.
Why Etsy?
Our own website is naturally found by people looking for Wing Chun in Halesowen. Etsy reaches a different audience: people browsing for martial arts gifts, Chinese calligraphy prints on clothing, or something a little different from mainstream sportswear. Having the designs there lets martial artists from any school or style find them without needing to know who we are.
Buying on Etsy vs our own shop
Our own shop carries the full range: club training kit, lifestyle pieces, winter layers, ladies’ and children’s clothing, plus our herbal massage liquids and eBooks. If you train with us, it’s usually the simplest place to buy, and you can ask about sizing at the centre. The Etsy shop is built around the T&T Studio designs, and it’s a convenient choice if you already have an Etsy account or train at another school. Questions about an Etsy order are best sent through Etsy’s own messaging, so everything stays in one place.

Where you’ll find the mark
On the graphic tees, the front is kept deliberately quiet: a small cinnabar red calligraphic seal on the left chest, with the T&T Studio mark directly beneath it. The bold artwork goes on the back. That makes the shirts easy to wear to work, the pub or the school gate, with the full design only visible when you turn around. It’s a small detail, but it’s the easiest way to tell a TrackAndTrainStudio piece from our club kit, which carries the school branding instead.
Current designs at a glance
Each of the lifestyle pieces has its own story, which I’ve written up separately rather than repeat here:
- The Celestial Dragon tee, and what the Enso circle means.
- The Tiger and Crane tee, on hard and soft power.
- The Biomechanical Blueprint tee, on centreline theory.
- The Ink Wash Pagoda & Plum Blossom hoodie, covered in our hoodie comparison.
All four are also available in our own shop: the Celestial Dragon Heavyweight Graphic Tee, the Tiger & Crane Duality Heavyweight Graphic Tee, the Wing Chun Biomechanical Blueprint Heavyweight Graphic Tee and the Ink Wash Pagoda & Plum Blossom Hoodie.
Is it genuine?
If the listing is on the TrackAndTrainStudio shop linked from this page, yes. If you ever see our designs or the T&T Studio mark offered somewhere else, please let me know, because that isn’t us.
Ordering tips
- Allow time. A lot of our clothing is made to order, so it won’t always arrive as quickly as mass-produced sportswear.
- Check the size notes on each listing. Some items run small; for example, the Ink Wash hoodie listing advises ordering one size up.
- Read the care instructions so the print lasts. There’s a fuller guide in sizing and care for our heavyweight tees.
For every style
Although the designs grew out of a Wing Chun school, they’re for anyone who loves martial arts or Chinese art. Respect for all styles is part of our ethos, and it’s always good to hear of practitioners from other arts wearing them.
